Match Highlights – Coventry City 3 Swansea City 3

Swansea City staged a remarkable comeback to earn a point against Coventry City after being 3-0 down after 54 minutes.

Having been a goal down at half-time, it quickly became two shortly after the break, before former Swan Viktor Gyokeres added a third for the Sky Blues to make it painful viewing for the 1,200 plus Jacks at the Coventry Building Society Arena.

In an attempt to rejuvenate his side, Martin used his bench, bringing on Armstrong Oko-Flex and Ollie Cooper before Joe Allen and Harry Darling shortly afterwards, with Liam Cullen the final sub to be used.

Someone the Swans then managed to score three times in the space of 22 minutes, as Joel Piroe, Jay Fulton and Liam Cullen all scored to grab the Swans an away point – which had looked nigh on impossible earlier in the game.

Speaking to the press after the game, Russell Martin said that certain aspects of his sides performance were unacceptable.

The Swans next Championship game sees them on the road once again as they travel to the Select Car Leasing stadium on December 27 to face Reading.
