Here is an image slideshow from the Under 18 Professional Development League game between Swansea City and Peterborough United at the Swansea City Academy in Landore on Saturday, 12 August 2023.

The Swans Under-18s got the season off to a winning start with a hard earned 2-1 win over the Posh at a blustery Landore last Saturday.

Thomas Woodward scored the opening goal of the afternoon when he finished from an Aimar Govea delivery shortly after the break.

Equador age-group International Govea then bagged a goal of his own with a stunning strike from outside the box with 11 minutes remaining. Tyler Winters converted a penalty for the visitors in stoppage time, but the home side held on to claim all three points.

The game was also an opportunity for the crowd to see some of the new Swans Academy recruits as well as some of last year’s Under 16 players who had progressed to the Under 18 age group.
