Match Highlights – AFC Bournemouth 5 Swansea City 0

Swansea City’s Emirates FA Cup journey came to an end in the fourth round as they faced a heavy defeat against Premier League side Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.

Bournemouth took a commanding lead within 15 minutes, with goals from Lloyd Kelly, Alex Scott, and Luis Sinisterra, all assisted by David Brooks.

Welsh International Brooks added another goal, exploiting the Swans’ offside trap, and Dominic Solanke extended the lead to 5-0 before halftime.

Despite no further goals in the second half, the score line remained a difficult one for the Swans, as Head coach Luke Williams took full responsibility for his side’s defeat in the post-match press conference.

One solitary bright note for the Swans was a first-team debut for 19 year old defender Filip Lissah, who was introduced with 15 minutes remaining, on the back of his impressive form when leading the Swansea City Under-21s.

The Swans return to Championship action on Tuesday evening, when they travel to the King Power stadium to take on league leaders Leicester City.
