Williams: We need to be more ruthless

Swansea City’s Luke Williams expressed the need for his side to be more ruthlessness after a narrow loss to Bristol City.

Despite dominating possession and creating chances, especially in the first half, the Swans couldn’t make it count. Their best opportunity arrived in the 60th minute when Przemysław Płacheta narrowly missed from close range.

Bristol City’s Rob Dickie’s second half header from a corner sealed the win for the home side and ended Swansea’s recent unbeaten run.

“We didn’t do enough to win the game,” said the head coach after the game.

“We’re very disappointed. We were able to control a lot of the game with the ball, but we didn’t create enough openings.

“We controlled the game with the ball, but we need to use that more to create good openings. The few chances that we had, we weren’t clinical enough.
