The U21s have featured in a number of fast-paced and highly competitive fixtures this season and today was no different. The match started and finished during brief lulls in otherwise belting rain at Landore.
In the first home U21 league game in almost a month, the hot news off the press is that the microphone at the ground has finally been fixed, so the crowd was once again able to enjoy the dulcet tones of announcer Eirian Wyn.
Ramon Rees-Siso and Tom Searle who have both suffered long-term injuries featured in the opening XI, Carter Heywood starting alongside Arthur Parker in the centre of defence and U18 players Bobo Evans and Kai Rhodes given starting places. Unfortunately, Tom Searle lasted only 20 minutes before having to be helped off with what appeared to be a muscle injury.
