Name or SCFC2 Guestbook Name: Keith Thomas
Occupation: Financial Planning Manager

How long have you been supporting the Swans?
38 years. It was 1977 – Dad took me to the Vetch Field. He had been a supporter for many years and his Dad, my grandfather used to stand on the East Terrace.

My 2 sons are season tickets holders now as well, so you could say its in the family.

Why did you start supporting the Swans?
First game was home to Huddersfield Town on 26th April 1977 and the Swans won 2-1.

What was the first Swans game you attended and what are your memories of it?
Don’t remember a lot about the game, sat in the double decker and can still remember the roar when swansea scored. Was hooked from that moment on!

Kevin Amankwaah
Kevin Amankwaah
Who is your worst Swans player of all time, and why?
Probably go with Kevin Amankwaah – just awful!

What is your least favourite away ground (past or present), and why?
Probably say the old Ninian Park ground. Earliest memories of going there was FA Cup 2nd replay against Crystal Palace, January 1980.

In those days the 2nd replay was played at a neutral ground and Swans won the toss. Lots of Cardiff City supporters turned up, I was very young and it was an awful atmosphere. I promised myself that I would never go back, and I didn’t!!

At least the Swans won that night and a certain David Giles scored the winner.

Funniest moment whilst watching the Swans?
The big set of gloves that were brought on the pitch for Dai Davies as part of pre-game entertainment. He needed them, everything was in slow motion with Dai!

Robbie James

You’ve got a meal deal ticket for Nando’s, which Swans player (past or present) would you take with you and why?
Loads to choose from, probably Robbie James, absolute legend and boy could he hit a football.

What do you like most about the Swans?
Well run club, kept loyal to values and principles.

If there was one thing you could change about the club what would it be?
Expand the stadium quickly, as lots of revenue is being lost.

Vetch Field pasty or Liberty hot dog?
Vetch Field – cheaper and tastier!
