8 years ago on 05 May 2007 – Despite a brace from Izzy Iriekpen and a classy goal from Lee Trundle, the Swans lost 6-3 to Coca-Cola League One play-off chasing Blackpool as a crowd of 18,903 witnessed what was one of the craziest games seem at the Liberty since in opened in 2005.

14 years ago on 05 May 2001 – Frenchman Matthias Verschave scored for the Swans as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Cambridge United in front of 3,383 at the Vetch in Nationwide League Division Two. Matthew Bound was sent off for a high tackle as both sides finished the game with 10 men. Roger Freestone also saved a Kitson penalty.

25 years ago 05 May 1990 – A Vetch Field crowd of 5,623 watched Bolton Wanderers hold the Swans to a 0-0 draw in Barclays League Division Three. The point was enough to ensure the Swans survival on the last day of the season.

31 years ago 05 May 1984 – Crystal Palace beat the Swans 2 nil in Canon League Division Two. The win ensured that Palace stayed in the division.
