What’s the Coventry Building Society Arena Like
Away fans are in one side of South Stand towards the corner.
The view is not brilliant, but it’s OK. Behind the stands are large concourses with a number of food and drink outlets, serving pies, hot dogs, burgers and alcohol is also available to purchase.
The concourses have TVs showing the game.
Visiting Coventry
Coventry is probably best known for its medieval Cathedral, which was left in ruins after being bombed during WWII.
The city was the UK City of Culture for 2021, ironically beating Swansea to the host, and it was also a host city for the Commonwealth Games in 2022.
If you are planning an overnight stay, then the nearest hotels to the stadium are the Double Tree by Hilton (CV6 6AQ) which is actually located at the stadium and the Novotel Coventry M6 J3 (CV6 6HL), which is only 2 miles away.
The only options are to stay in the city centre, which is around 4 miles away.
Eating and Drinking near the Coventry Building Society Arena
Dhillon’s Brewery (CV6 6AT, 0.5 miles) is open for home games, with brewery tours also available.
The Cherry Tree Sports and Social Club (CV6 6FT, 0.5 miles) also offers parking for £5.
The Longford Engine (CV6 6BP, 0.7 miles) does welcome away fans and offers free parking and a burger van.
The Coach & Horses (CV6 6BG, 0.7 miles) is also nearby and the Bird in Hand (CV2 1PQ, 1.3 miles) is a pleasant walk along the canal to the stadium.

There are a 2,000 parking spaces at the stadium and being really close to the motorway means that once out, it’s a quick getaway. The cost is currently £12 per car and parking can be booked online.
Be aware that there is a strict no parking policy in the side streets near the stadium. A strict resident parking scheme is enforced on event days and the enforcement area covers a radius of 2 km from the venue.
You can also choose from a selection of private car parking spaces, including a few reservable parking spaces near the Coventry Building Society Arena stadium from around £3.80 for the whole day.
