What’s Craven Cottage Like

Up to 1,600 Swans fans are in part of the Putney End Stand, on the side of the ground.

There’s decent leg room but a couple of pillars that could spoil your view.

For those who like a drink, lager, cider, bitter, Guinness and wine are sold. There is also a deal for beer and a pie, beer and a burger, or hot dog on offer for away fans.

Visiting Fulham

Fulham is one of the most upmarket areas of London and is well known for its trendy shopping streets such as King’s Road and Fulham Road, which feature chic boutiques and posh delis.

It’s a great place to visit especially to which the football, whilst enjoying the popular brunch cafes and relaxed pubs in the Parsons Green area before or after the match.

Of course, you could always pop on a tube and head into central London for even more to see and do during your visit.

What’s On in Fulham

With Fulham being in London, you really are spoilt for choice for things to do!

The top 10 theatre shows in London’s West End at the moment are – The Lion King, The Phantom of the Opera, Hamilton, Come from Away, The Book of Mormon, Les Misérables, Matilda, Mamma Mia, Tina – The Tina Turner Musical and Wicked.

You’ll need to book and subject to any COVID restrictions and or cancellations though.

If you are planning and taking in a show during your visit, then make sure you get discount theatre tickets from online outlets such as London Theatre Direct.

The night after the game, Mo Gilligan is the Hammersmith Apollo (W6 9H), tickets (returns only) are £18.50.

MMA is at Wembley Arena (HA9 0DW), tickets from £57.75. The next night it’s Eubank Jnr Vs Elbir and other fights on the card, tickets from £46.

The Thursday Jimmy Carr is at the O2 Arena (SE10 0DX), tickets are sold out, but check for returns just in case.

Eating and Drinking near Craven Cottage

The nearest pub to the ground that welcomes away fans is The Crabtree (W6 9HA) which is 0.6 miles away.

Fulham High Street has many pubs including The Courtyard (SW6 3LQ).

Near the tube station are the Eight Bells (SW6 3JS), The Temperance (SW6 3LF) and King’s Arms (SW6 4RN), all 1 mile away.

Across the river is a Wetherspoons, The Rocket (SW15 2JQ), nearby is The Boathouse (SW15 2JX), both of which are around 1.2 miles away from the ground.

Parking near Craven Cottage

Parking close to the ground is really difficult, but you could take advantage of some private car parking spaces near Craven Cottage, which you can reserve from just £7.00 for the whole day.

Match day parking is only for one hour and is ‘pay & display’, so finding parking away from the stadium is needed.

Bus to Fulham

For the Fulham game, the club and National Express have reached an agreement to provide a service specifically for the travelling Jacks journeying to cheer on the Swans.

Fans can purchase return coach tickets to Brighton for the game for £31 online from National Express.

There will be three pick up points; the Stadium, Briton Ferry (McDonald’s) and Port Talbot.

Tickets will be sent via email/e-ticket to fans directly from National Express, and will need to be shown to the driver before boarding. 

All coaches are fully accessible, with toilet provisions available on board. All coaches will depart and return to the Stadium, with two stops along the way.

Fans should be aware that buses will not depart until after the fixture has finished.

Trains to Fulham

The nearest tube station is Putney Bridge (District Line) and is 1 mile from the ground. Turn left out of the station and follow the other fans.

Trains take 3 hours to Paddington leaving at 12:23, 13:23, 14:22 and 15:23.

Coming back the only train from Paddington leaves at 22:48 getting to Swansea at 02:05.
