As you can see from the table above, Łukasz Fabiański was voted the SCFC2 Swansea City Player of the Year for the 2014-2015 season.

Many Congratulations Lukasz – Gratulacje Łukasz na byciu gracza roku!

The popular Polish international goalkeeper who turned 30 last month, got over 43% of the vote and is (in my opinion) a very worthy winner having managed 12 clean sheets in his 34 Premier League appearances to date.

His fine performances this season have seen him re-called to the Polish national side and also made a mockery of the nickname given to him by Gunners fans – “Flapianski”.

Having seen some of the saves he’s made in a Swans jersey and some during his Arsenal days (as seen in the following video), it seems an unfair nickname!
