We’ve put together a full list of all of the Premier League teams and put them in shortest travelling distance order – complete with the time taken to get there!
Please note the following:
- All distances were calculated from the Liberty Stadium (SA1 2FA);
- All journeys were ranked in order of distance NOT the quickest route;
- All distance and time information was provided by Google Maps;
There’s no doubt that IF you chose to take the scenic route through mid Wales (for the northern games!) then the distance would drop on average by around 20-30 miles BUT the travelling time would be the same or a little more. The general rule of them is that usually motorways are quicker than ‘A’ roads but mean furtehr to travel – if fuel consumption is more important that time to you!
Anyway, here goes….
Team | Distance | Time |
West Bromwich Albion | 151 | 02:37 |
Aston Villa | 155 | 02:47 |
Southampton | 158 | 03:20 |
AFC Bournemouth | 158 | 03:16 |
Leicester City | 183 | 03:24 |
Chelsea | 185 | 03:18 |
Stoke City | 190 | 03:19 |
Watford | 191 | 03:04 |
Crystal Palace | 194 | 03:34 |
Arsenal | 195 | 03:38 |
Tottenham Hotspur | 197 | 03:41 |
West Ham United | 228 | 03:42 |
Manchester United | 240 | 04:06 |
Liverpool | 243 | 04:13 |
Manchester City | 243 | 04:13 |
Everton | 244 | 04:15 |
Norwich City | 309 | 05:24 |
Sunderland | 357 | 06:11 |
Newcastle United | 359 | 06:12 |
Just one final thought for you all, if you are considering going to ALL 19 Swans away games in the Barclays Premier League next season, then you’ll clock up in excess of 8,000 miles and have a nice fuel bill of around £990 🙂
