Despite Sky Sports originally choosing to broadcast the Swansea City v Leeds United game this coming Sunday, the powers that be at their Isleworth HQ have now opted not to show the game live on Sky after all.
Rumours about the change started circulating yesterday, when Welsh football commentator and current Leeds United employee, Bryn Law tweeted:
The good news for Swans fans is that the game will now available to UK and international viewers live and exclusively on SwansTV.
The kick-off remains at 1.30pm and if needed, you can buy a one off pass to watch the game on SwansTV for £7.99 from the club.
It is thought that Sky’s decision to change their selection to the Stoke City v Birmingham City game instead of the Swans v Leeds game, is due to the fact that they wished to cover a Leeds game later in the season, when they could potentially clinch promotion, thus generating better viewing figures and Sky Sports subscriptions.
