Swansea City Ladies goalkeeper Claire Skinner has won the Welsh Premier Women’s League Golden Glove award for the 2020/21 season.
Skinner, who joined the Swans Ladies from Cardiff City Women in December 2020, had to wait patiently until March 2021 to make her Swans debut due to Wales being in a tier-four lockdown.
The goalkeeper made an impressive start, keeping a clean sheet in the 5-0 victory over Aberystwyth Town Ladies, before going on to accumulate a total of 10 clean sheets in 16 games.
The award adds to a hugely successful season for the Swans Ladies, after completing the League and Cup double, the reward for which was Champions League Qualification and a trip to Cyprus to take on CSKA Moscow Women.
