Young Swansea striker Kyle Joseph, who is currently on a season long loan with League One side Cheltenham Town, marked his Robins debut with a goal.
The Scotland Under-19 international, who signed for the Swans from Wigan Athletic in the Summer, took just 14 minutes to score his first goal for Cheltenham, with a sweet left-footed strike from 20 yards into the bottom corner.
Despite taking an early lead however, the home sides were denied all three points thanks to a late equaliser for MK Dons.
Cooper impresses for Newport
Elsewhere, 21 year old midfielder Ollie Cooper, who joined League Two Newport County on transfer deadline day, continued in County’s midfield, making a first league start in a lively 2-2 draw with Kenny Jackett’s Leyton Orient at Rodney Parade.

Cooper had already made an impressive debut for Newport in the EFL Trophy win against Plymouth earlier in the week.
