Very entertaining, open game. 4 good goals, but we created lots more.
We almost paid for our missed chances as Crewe continually found the byline in the last 10 minutes. Fortunately McFayden wrapped the game up in added time, finishing from a smart Tarrelle Whittaker pass.
Daniel Williams was very influential throughout, but pulled up after 55 mins. Ben Margetson also spent the last 15 minutes limping and after the Swans had used all their subs.
Attendance about 150, with most academy playing colleagues also present.
One notable aspect was that – most likely under instruction – keeper Lewis Webb looked to play or roll short balls out to his defenders and to Dan Williams wherever possible. As with the first team, it got a little hairy at times, but luckily nothing cataclysmic ensued!
