Match Highlights – Stoke City 1 Swansea City 1

Swansea City had to settle for a draw in the Potteries after an injury time equaliser from Tyrese Campbell salvaged a point for Stoke and new manager Alex Neil.

Whilst the Swans performance was a step up from what we had witnessed in previous games, the achilles heel of not being able to see games out once again came back to haunt Russell Martin and his men.

Martin said in his post-match press conference that he was proud of his team’s performance but was once again frustrated with the result and manner in which it came about.

One major bright spot for the Swans was the performance of Oli Cooper, who was handed his first Swansea City league start and showed much promise with an energetic and composed.

The Swans now face QPR at the Swansea dot com stadium on Saturday, with the home side still searching for their first home win of the season.
