Championship league leaders Burnley extended their lead at the top of the table thanks to a 2-1 win over the Swans at the Swansea.com stadium.
The Lancashire side completed the double over Russell Martin’s men thanks to two spectacular goals from Ian Maatsen in the opening 22 minutes.
Although Oli Cooper pulled a goal back after 27 minutes, the Swans couldn’t find the all important equaliser, despite going toe-to-toe with the league leaders.
The Swans now turn their attention to the FA Cup with the third round clash at Bristol City on Sunday.
