Despite leading at the interval the Swans had to settle for a replay as they drew 1-1 with Bristol City in the FA Cup 3rd Round at Ashton Gate.
The Swans took the lead on 15 minutes, when Joel Piroe pounced on an error by Robins goalkeeper Max O’Leary to send the packed away end into raptures.
Unfortunately, the Swans weren’t able to build on their first half lead and the home side duly took advantage of their second half dominance to equalise in the 75th minute through Antoine Semenyo.
After the game Russell Martin said that his side let their intensity levels drop, which allowed Bristol back into the game to force a replay at the Swansea.com stadium on Tuesday, 17 January.
