Bramall to referee Swans trip to Blackburn

Thomas Bramall will be the official in charge of the Swans visit to Ewood Park for the Championship game with Blackburn Rovers on Saturday (3pm).

The Sheffield born official will be assisted by Graham Kane and Richard Wild, with Robert Lewis the 4th Official for the game.

It will be the second time that Bramall has taken charge of a Swansea City game this season, the last game time being the Carabao Cup defeat to Oxford United on penalties back in August.

Although Bramall is a relatively new official, his record when refereeing Swansea City matches doesn’t make for pleasant reading, with the Swans yet to win or draw when he has been the official.

Thomas Bramall Championship 2022-2023 Record

This will be the 11th Championship game that Bramall has taken charge of this season.

He had handed out 34 yellow cards, 1 red card and awarded two penalties, both of which were in the QPR v Reading game.

It will be the fourth time that Bramall has officiated a Blackburn game (W2 D1), with them also being the team to receive the most yellow cards from him (6).

The one Swansea game he officiated at Oxford, saw him give yellow cards to Matty Sorinola and Liam Cullen.
