Match Highlights – Blackburn Rovers 1 Swansea City 0

Swansea City’s miserable record at Ewood Park continued this weekend as they fell to a last gasp 1-0 defeat against Blackburn Rovers.

Despite dominating for long periods of the game, it was an all too familiar story for the Swans, as Blackburn defender Daniel Ayala headed in a 89th minute winner for the home side.

Russell Martin was very disappointed with the result, saying – “We should not lose the game, we should be coming away from here with at least a draw” in his post-match interview.

The 502 Swansea fans that made the 400 plus mile round trip will also have been disappointed and would no doubt be wondering how their side managed to lose.

Next up for the Swans is the visit of Stoke City to the Swansea.com stadium on Tuesday evening.
