Ward to referee Swans v Millers clash

Surrey based official Gavin Ward will take charge of the EFL Championship clash between Swansea City and Rotherham United in front of the Sky TV cameras at the Swansea.com stadium on Monday evening (8pm).

Assisting Ward for the game will be Robert Hyde and Andrew Fox, with Keith Stroud the 4th Official for the game.

This will be the third Swans game that Ward has officiated this season, the last one being the 2-1 win over Sunderland at the Swansea.com stadium back in October.

This will be Ward’s 25th Championship game this season and he has handed out 80 yellow cards, two red cards and awarded 4 penalties thus far during the 2022-2023 campaign.

It will be the fourth time this season that Ward has officiated a Rotherham game, with them having won 2 and drawn one of the other games.

When Ward officiated the Swans game against Sunderland last October, he booked Jay Fulton and Joel Latibeaudiere.
