Championship promotion hopefuls Middlesbrough secured all three points at the Swansea.com stadium after turning around a half-time deficit to run out 3-1 winners.
Joel Piroe scored his 14th goal of the season to give the Swans an early lead. But within 10 minutes of the second half restart, the visitors had levelled through Aaron Ramsey. Just minutes later, Boro took the lead through Cameron Archer, before Chuba Akpom wrapped up all three points for the visitors in the 77th minute when he scored from the penalty spot to make it 3-1.
Russell Martin spoke in his post-match press conference about his team learning to manage moments in games far better, which is something of a familiar theme to a lot of Swansea games this season.
Next up for the Swans is a trip to Millwall on Tuesday evening, when they will be looking to end a dismal run of just two league wins in 11 Championship games this year.
