Here is an image slideshow from the Under 18 Professional Development League game between Swansea City and Wigan Athletic at the Swansea City Academy in Landore on Saturday, 29 April 2023.
The Swans Under-18s ended their season with an emphatic 7-3 win over the Latics at a warm and sunny Landore.
Striker Iwan Morgan continued his rich vein of form, as he got four goals for the Swans, while Charlie Veevers also found the back of the net, with substitute Kyrell Wilson scoring twice.
Swansea started the match brightly and took the lead thanks to a sensational free-kick from Veevers. However, Wigan launched a comeback, with Harrison Bettoni scoring a hat-trick in the first half, before Morgan pulled one back as the visitors led 3-2 at the break.
The second half belonged to the Swans, as Morgan completed his second consecutive hat-trick with three goals, taking his total for the season to an impressive 28, in what was Head Coach Darren Davies last game in charge.
