Cymru drew 2-2 in the return game this afternoon. The cooler weather suited both sides.
Sweden edged 2-1 ahead before half-time with 2 very good goals by right winger Agbonifo and after Cardiff’s Japhet Matondo had initially put the home side 1 up on 9 minutes with a speculative cross cum shot.
Lewis Koumas got the equaliser on the hour, slotting home the rebound after the Swedish keeper had saved Nyakuhwa’s penalty.
Sweden had more of the play overall and finished strongly. Cymru relied on breaks and just about held on for the draw.
Dan Watts came on at half-time and made a number of useful interventions and passes.
Lots of substitutions again reduced overall fluency, but a good workout.
