Yorkshire official James Bell has been appointed the referee for the Championship game between Swansea City and Middlesbrough at the Swansea.com on Saturday.
It will be the first time that Bell will have taken charge of a Swansea City game, having only been appointed to the Select 2 Group of officials in August 2022.
He was however the fourth official for the Swans 3-1 win at Plymouth Argyle earlier this season.
Referee James Bell will be assisted by Ian Cooper and James Wilson, with Ben Atkinson the 4th Official for the game..
James Bell Championship 2023-2024 Record
This will be Bell’s 11th Championship game of the 2023-2024 campaign so far, and he has handed out 43 yellow cards and one red card, whilst awarding two penalties.
It will be the second time that Bell has officiated a Middlesbrough game this campaign, the first being the 2-1 defeat against Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park, when he booked Darragh Lenihan and Hayden Hackney.
