Swansea City Under-18s ended the year on a positive note, securing a 3-1 win over AFC Bournemouth at Landore with goals from Rohan Davies, Jacob Cook, and Thomas Woodward.

The Swans took an early lead, going 1-0 up within three minutes as Rohan Davies converted from the penalty spot after Thomas Woodward was fouled in the area. Despite AFC Bournemouth leveling the score with Josh Salmon’s drilled shot into an open net, Jacob Cook restored Swansea’s lead before the hour mark with an impressive strike into the top corner.

In the final quarter, Thomas Woodward sealed the deal for the Swans by turning in Aimar Govea’s cross. The victory came with just two changes to the starting XI from the previous match against Bristol City. Brogan Popham made his first start, filling in for the unwell Jack Fanning, and Thomas Searle returned to the line-up after recovering from an injury, taking the place of Josh Pescatore, who was named on the bench.
