Luke Williams: There is plenty of work ahead

New Swansea City head coach Luke Williams expressed satisfaction with the positive aspects he saw in his team’s performance in the 2-2 draw against Birmingham City. However, he emphasized that there is still much hard work ahead for the team.

Despite goals from Harry Darling and Jamal Lowe, Swansea City was denied a victory when Birmingham City’s Jordan James scored a late equaliser. Williams acknowledged the toughness and resilience shown by his team under pressure and praised their character.

While pleased with certain aspects, Williams highlighted the need for cleaner and more controlled play, addressing scruffy actions and emphasizing the importance of understanding tactical ideas. He emphasized the goal of achieving better control of the game.
