Match Highlights – Swansea City 1 Rotherham United 0

Swansea City clinched another home victory as Andy Rinomhota’s own goal secured all three points against Rotherham United at the Swansea.com Stadium.

The decisive moment arrived in the 74th minute when the Millers midfielder inadvertently headed Liam Walsh’s corner into his own net at the near post, beating his own goalkeeper Viktor Johansson.

Despite Swansea’s dominance in possession, particularly frustrating was Johansson’s impressive performance denying efforts from Liam Cullen, Jamie Paterson, and Ronald.

The win marked the fourth victory in five home games for head coach Luke Williams’ side, who remained unchanged from their win against Stoke City on Wednesday evening.

Following the match, Williams said that his side “could have made it a bit easier for ourselves“, but overall was pleased with the application of his side.

Next up for the Swans is a trip to the The John Smith’s Stadium in west Yorkshire to take on fellow relegation battlers Huddersfield Town.
