The young Swans fell to a 4-1 defeat against Burnley in this Under 18 Professional Development League clash at Landore, with Swansea City Sporting Director Paul Watson watching from the stands.
The match started with an early blow for Swansea as forward Benji Wetshi found the net within the first minute. Burnley extended their lead in the second half with two goals from Lucas Wane and a stunning strike from Brandon Ly, securing a comfortable win.
Swansea managed to get on the scoresheet late in the game, with Sammy Henia Kamau scoring from close range. However, it served as a mere consolation as Burnley maintained control.
In a late attempt to get back into the game, Swansea had a goal from Brogan Popham disallowed due to an offside in the build-up. Despite this, the Swans could not argue with the final outcome.
