Luke Williams has called for a stronger mentality from his Swansea City players after a late collapse saw them lose 5-1 to Norwich City at Carrow Road.
Liam Cullen’s 62nd-minute header had canceled out Josh Sargent’s first-half opener, bringing the Swans level.
However, Sargent restored Norwich’s lead almost immediately, and the home side ran riot in the final 15 minutes, with Lewis Dobbin, Ante Crnac, and Emiliano Marcondes adding further goals.
The defeat extended Swansea’s winless away run, and Williams emphasized the need for the team to handle adversity better and show more resilience.
“We were competitive in the first half, but absolutely terrible in the second half,” said the Swans boss.
“Somehow we have gone from being on level terms to a complete capitulation. Tactically we were fine and we are in the game, no problem.
“I cannot believe that after an hour Norwich became a brilliant team, and we became such a poor one.
“That can only be down to the mindset of the players because there is no way we can be that drastically different.
“That has got to change quickly, we are in terrible form and we have to change that immediately.”
