Swansea City suffered a late collapse, conceding three goals in the final 15 minutes, in a 5-1 defeat to Norwich City at Carrow Road.
Josh Sargent’s strike on the stroke of half-time gave Norwich the lead, but Liam Cullen’s 10th goal of the season brought the Swans level in the 62nd minute.
Parity was short-lived as Sargent immediately restored Norwich’s advantage, and Lewis Dobbin extended the lead with 14 minutes to go.
Late goals from Ante Crnac and Emiliano Marcondes sealed a heavy loss for the Swans, whose struggles on the road continued.
New loan signing Hannes Delcroix replaced the suspended Harry Darling in the only change to Swansea’s line-up from the defeat against Sheffield United on Tuesday evening.
After another heavy defeat on the road, Luke Williams called on his team to change their mindset and mentality, if they were to avoid being dragged into a relegation battle.
Next up for the Swans is a home game against Frank Lampard’s Coventry City on Saturday, 1 February (3pm).
