Jisung Eom’s first goal for Swansea City secured a 1-0 victory over Middlesbrough, making it back-to-back home wins for the Swans.
The South Korean midfielder broke the deadlock with a superb curling effort from the edge of the box, marking his first goal in SA1 in style.
The victory extended Swansea’s unbeaten run to three games and lifted them to 15th in the Championship table, having also kept 3 consecutive clean sheets.
Caretaker boss Alan Sheehan made one enforced change, with Eom replacing Myles Peart-Harris, who missed out due to a back injury sustained in Tuesday’s goalless draw at Preston.
The Swans next fixture is a trip to Vicarage Road to take on Watford on Wednesday night.

Post-Match Reaction from Alan Sheehan
Interim head coach Alan Sheehan hailed his side’s resilience after the 1-0 victory at the Swansea.com Stadium.
Jisung Eom’s first-half strike – his first goal for the club – proved decisive, as the midfielder curled home a superb finish from distance.
The result marked three consecutive clean sheets and back-to-back home wins for the Swans, further extending their unbeaten run under Sheehan.
“Some aspects of the first half were exceptional and the game could have been over, there’s different ways to attack different teams, but if you’re passive against this team, they can really, really hurt you
“We defend as a team, we attack as a team and I think that was important, when our 10 jumped our centre backs had to be brave. That’s why I say we defend as a team we attack as a team, but credit to lads, they were outstanding today.
“The credit goes to the players again because we give them all the detail and they’re the ones that carry it out.
“And in terms of the fans getting involved, they were exceptional again and it’s like they’re seeing a team that are giving absolutely everything and trying to play high intensity football.
“There’s still a lot of things to improve on from certain aspects of the game, but in terms of the things that we want to keep building here, like character confidence, resilience, it’s wonderful.”
