Swansea City made it five wins on the bounce with a composed 2-1 victory over Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road.
A Morgan Fox own goal handed the Swans the lead in the first half, the defender diverting Liam Cullen’s strike into the far corner after a dominant opening spell from the visitors.
They doubled their advantage after the break when Harry Darling and Josh Key converged at the far post to force home a deflected cross, with Key appearing to get the final touch.
Kader Dembele pulled one back for QPR, but the Swans held firm to record a fifth straight league win – their best run since a nine-game streak during the 1999-2000 Third Division title-winning season.
Speaking to to the press after the game, Alan Sheehan felt his side totally deserved the win, after controlling the majority of the game
Liam Cullen and Jay Fulton returned to the starting XI – after being on the bench in the win over Hull City on Good Friday – in place of Žan Vipotnik and Joe Allen.
The Swans face another trip to London for their next Championship game, when the play Millwall at the Den on Saturday.
