Swansea City slumped to a heavy defeat at Turf Moor, as new Championship leaders Burnley cruised to a 4-0 win.
The Swans endured a miserable afternoon in Lancashire, as first half goals from Vitinho, Jay Rodriguez and Anass Zaroury put the home team out of sight by the half time interval.
Jay Rodriguez then added to his tally in the second half, as the Swans four game winning streak came to an abrupt end against Vincent Kompany’s rampant Clarets.
A straight red card 15 minutes from time for Joel Piroe, merely compounded an awful away day for the Swans and the several hundred travelling Jacks present.
Russell Martin and his team will look to bounce back quickly and have an opportunity on Tuesday evening, when Reading are the visitors to the Swansea.com stadium.
