Gill reflects on Swans win over Hearts

Swansea City started their week long training camp in Scotland with a 2-1 win over Heart of Midlothian at Tynecastle.

The game which was played behind closed doors, saw the Swans return to action for the first time since their last league outing at Huddersfield.

Two goals in three first half-minutes from Jay Fulton and Joel Piroe were enough to see the Swans beat their Scottish Premiership opponents, despite Euan Henderson pulling a goal back for the home side.

The Swans used the game as an opportunity to give a number of young academy players such as Harry Jones, Azeem Abdulai, Joel Cotterill and Ben Lloyd, some valuable game time in the senior squad.

Here was the Swans full starting line-up:

Swansea City: Steven Benda (Andy Fisher 60), Ryan Manning (Nathanael Obgeta 60), Jay Fulton (Joel Cotterill 60), Matt Grimes (captain) (Cameron Congreve 60), Jamie Paterson (Ben Lloyd 60), Brandon Cooper (Harry Jones 60), Joel Piroe (Liam Cullen 60), Luke Cundle (Matty Sorinola 60), Joel Latibeaudiere (Armstrong Oko-Flex 60), Nathan Wood (Azeem Abdulai 60), Kyle Naughton (Fin Stevens 60).
