The Swans were knocked out of the FA Cup in the 3rd round as Bristol City won the replay 2-1 at the Swansea.com stadium after extra time.
Russel Martin made seven changes to his side from the weekend win at Sunderland as Andy Fisher, Kyle Naughton, Nathan Wood, Luke Cundle, Olivier Ntcham, Matty Sorinola and Cameron Congreve came into the starting XI.
Mark Sykes gave the visitors the lead on 62 minutes, before the introduction of Ollie Cooper sparked the Swans into life, with the youngster grabbing the all important equaliser with his very first touch.
With both sides looking for the all important winner in extra-time, it was the Robins who booked their place in the Fourth Round, as 20 year old academy product Sam Bell scored, thanks to an assist by former Swan Andy King.
Once again Swans boss Martin was left frustrated and disappointed that his Swansea City side had not made more of their opportunities in the FA Cup third-round replay defeat.
The Swans return to Championship action on Saturday with a trip to Queens Park Rangers.
