Jeremy Simpson will be the referee for the Swans Championship game against Bristol City at the Swansea.com stadium on Sunday afternoon.
It will be the first time that Simpson has taken charge of a Swansea City game so far this season.
Assisting Simpson for the game, will be Jonathan Hunt and Craig Taylor with John Busby the 4th Official for the game.
Why not have a look at the Swans results when Jeremy Simpson has been the referee for previous games.
His record for Swans home games doesn’t make for good reading, with the Swans yet to win in SA1 when he has been the official, having lost one game and drawn the other.
Jeremy Simpson EFL Championship Record
This will be the 19th EFL Championship game that Simpson has taken charge of so far during the 2022-2023 season.
He has handed out 88 yellow cards and 1 red card to date.
Although this will be his first Swans game this season, it will be the fourth Bristol City fixture he has officiated.
During the three previous Bristol games, he handed out a total of 10 yellow cards – the most he has awarded any team in the Championship!
Bristol are also yet to win a game this season when Simpson has been the referee, having drawn two and lost one of the fixtures.
