Swansea City salvaged a point against Huddersfield Town at the Swansea.com Stadium thanks to Charlie Patino’s stoppage-time equalizer.
The Swans seemed destined for defeat after Ben Cabango’s unfortunate own goal put Huddersfield in the lead in the third minute.
Despite Michael Duff’s side dominating for long periods of the game, with chances for Jay Fulton, Cabango, Harry Darling, and Yannick Bolasie, a breakthrough looked like being elusive.
Thankfully for the Swans faithful, substitute Charlie Patino became the hero in the third minute of the six added minutes, as his long-range effort found the net, sneaking inside the far post to give the Swans what had looked like an unlikely point.
Making three changes from their previous defeat at Leeds, the hosts saw Kyle Naughton, Liam Walsh, and Liam Cullen entering the starting lineup, while Josh Key, Ollie Cooper, and Yates took their places on the bench.
