Joe Allen’s dramatic stoppage-time header rescued an unlikely point for Swansea City against play-off hopefuls West Bromwich Albion at the Swansea.com Stadium.
The substitute midfielder timed his run perfectly to meet Ronald’s pinpoint volleyed cross, glancing the ball into the far corner and sparking celebrations among the home crowd.
The Swans had been staring at defeat after Baggies substitute Tom Fellows finished off a swift counter-attack midway through the second half to give the visitors the lead.
Luke Williams made four changes to his side following the big loss at Portsmouth on New Year’s Day. Cyrus Christie made his first start since rejoining the club, replacing the injured Ben Cabango, while Josh Key, Gonçalo Franco, and Vipotnik were also recalled to the starting XI. Kyle Naughton, Jay Fulton, and Florian Bianchini dropped to the bench.
