4-2 sounds like a convincing enough win but, in truth, Exeter got off lightly. We’d already beaten this side 5-1 in an August friendly and today really should have scored far more goals and conceded less. Coach Darren Davies used the opportunity to trial players in different positions. We lined up as 3-4-2-1: Kit Margetson; Arthur …
Surrey based official Gavin Ward will take charge of the Swansea City v Sunderland Championship game at the Swansea.com stadium on Saturday. Assisting Ward for the game will be Andrew Dallison and Bhupinder Gill, with Ollie Yates the 4th Official for the game. This will be the second Swans game that Ward has officiated this …
Swansea City recorded their second successive Championship away win of the season thanks to a 98th minute winner at Watford. Despite dominating large periods of the first half, the Swans were behind at half-time after Ismaila Sarr’s close range finish had given the hosts the lead. A second half turnaround however, ensured the 600 plus …
Despite having been to West Brom on Saturday, over 600 of the Jack Army travelled to Hertfordshire this evening to watch the Swans take on Watford. The Jacks were once again in fine voice and could be heard throughout the game at Vicarage Road, despite the Swans being a goal down until Olivier Ntcham’s sweetly …
A great tonic for our U21, against a side that’s given us problems in the recent past. Jon Grey didn’t appear to be there today – perhaps working? Lots of the U18 squad present, plus Tiv Rushesha, Kyle Joseph, Liam Cullen and Ollie Cooper, as well as Russell Martin arriving in the 2nd half. I’ve …
Sussex official Tim Robinson will be the man in the middle when the Swans travel to Watford on Wednesday evening. It will be the first time that Robinson has officiated a Swans fixture this season, and he will be assisted by Ian Cooper and Robert Hyde, with Keith Stroud the fourth Official for the game.. …
Here is an image slideshow from the Under 18s Professional Development League game between the Swans and Charlton Athletic at Landore on Saturday, 1 October 2022. The game was delayed 30 minutes due to the Charlton team getting stuck in traffic on the M4, but it didn’t seem to affect the reigning Professional Development League …
Swansea City recorded their second Championship away win of the season after a pulsating 3-2 win at West Brom. The Swans got off to a dream start, as Matty Sorinola scored his first goal for the club after just six minutes. West Brom then hit back in the second half, as Jake Livermore and Grady …
Over 1,700 Swans fans travelled to the Hawthorns this afternoon to watch their team grab all three points in a typically crazy Championship encounter. Despite yet another rail strike, the Jack Army once again travelled in large numbers and were rewarded for their loyal support with goals from Matty Sorinola, Olivier Ntcham and Michael Obafemi, …
It was an unusual match in all respects. Spectators couldn’t get into the ground via the normal entrance, as there was a kids tournament taking place on the pitches closest to the Liberty and today’s stewards didn’t seem to have any knowhow as to how U18 games are run. As it was, Charlton’s team coach was delayed, …
