Webb to referee Canaries v Swans

Lancashire official David Webb has been appointed the referee for the Swans penultimate away game of the season at Norwich City on Saturday.

Assisting Webb for the game will be Andrew Fox and Richard Wild, with Sam Lewis the 4th Official for the game.

This will be the third time that Webb has officiated a Swansea City game this season, the other games being the 1-1 draw at Stoke City back in August and the 2-1 defeat at Millwall in March.

Webb has taken charge of 30 Championship games so far this season, handing out 91 yellow cards and 8 red cards.

It will be the fourth time that Webb has officiated a Norwich game, the other games were the goalless draw at Stoke in March, a 1-1 draw with Reading at Carrow Road and the 3-2 home win over Bristol City last September.

Grant Hanley, Sam McCallum and Gabriel Sara are the only Norwich City players to have received yellow cards.

For the Swans, Harry Darling and Ryan Manning received yellows in the Millwall defeat, whilst Matthew Sorinola and Kyle Naughton were booked during the draw at Stoke.
