Match Highlights – Swansea City 2 Morecambe 0

Swansea City secured their place in the fourth round of the Emirates FA Cup with a victory over League Two Morecambe, marking Luke Williams’ first game in charge at the Swansea.com Stadium.

Early in the second half, Charlie Patino found the back of the net, toeing in from close range after Sam Parker’s cross. Whilst the Swans second goal came in the final minutes when Jerry Yates unleashed a volley from the edge of the box.

Luke Williams, in his first game as head coach, made wholesale changes to the lineup, with none of the starters from the West Bromwich Albion game included in the XI.

Academy products Sam Parker and Azeem Abdulai were handed starts, while Kyrell Wilson and Filip Lissah were on the substitutes’ bench. Joe Allen wore the armband with club captain Matt Grimes among the substitutes, and Andy Fisher made his first appearance of the season in goal.
