Yorkshire official Tom Nield has been appointed the referee for the midweek Championship game between Watford and Swansea City on Wednesday evening.
This will be the third Swansea City game that Nield has officiated in his career to date, but it will be the first time he has officiated a Swansea away game.
Both his other appearances have been earlier in the campaign, the 2-1 win over Norwich City in October and the 2-0 FA Cup Third Round win over Morecambe in January.
He will be assisted by Mark Stevens and Carl Fitch-Jackson, with James Linington the 4th Official for the game at Vicarage Road.
Tom Nield Championship 2023-2024 Record
This will be the 9th EFL Championship game that Nield has officiated so far this season, and has handed out a total of 28 yellow cards.
Nield booked Jamal Lowe, Josh Key, Liam Cullen and Oli Cooper in the Swans victory over Norwich, whilst showing Nathan Wood a yellow card in the FA Cup game against Morecambe.
It will be the first time he has officiated a Watford game in his career.
