Another rather young Swans side lost 3-2 to an experienced Cymru Premier Barry outfit, with Iestyn Jones and Sammy Henia-Kamau getting our goals. We fielded another very young side today at Jenner Park. Although we got through the first half rather fortunately ahead with a Iestyn Jones goal, the pressure from a physically and technically …
The U21 got a well earned 2-0 win over Briton Ferry Llansawel’s senior side this evening. The relentless drizzle kept the crowd to a disappointing minimum. It was something of a slog for both sides, although we did enough to deserve the win. We included 4 of the trialists from the Trefelin game and also …
A convincing 6-0 win for our very young U18 side this evening against their Briton Ferry Llansawel U19 counterparts in the hazy sun at Old Road. The hard work was accomplished in the first half, Jarred Harvey using the 2nd half to give opportunities to U16 players and without losing control of the match. Line-up …
No MG Cup run for us this season, as we went out at the first hurdle at sunny Baglan, losing after a 1-1 draw went straight to penalties without extra time. Baglan scored all 5 of theirs, we missed our first and that was that, really. Anthony Wright played the hand he was dealt – …
A decent workout for our U21 this evening against a workmanlike and determined Trefelin opposition who played in a competitive spirit throughout. There were some familiar faces in the Ynys Park squad – including Lee Trundle, Shaun MacDonald, Daniel Alfei and Steve Berry. Our team and squad comprised a mix of U21, U18 and trialists, …

The match was played on a grass pitch next door to the 3G turf that the senior Pontypridd side uses for its Cymru League fixtures. The weather took a turn for …
Tremendous 1-0 result for our U21 this afternoon, meaning we finish 2nd in Professional Development South and go into a play-off with Northern section champions Sheffield United. This game took place exactly a year after our 10-1 victory over the same opponents last season. This was never going to be the same type of game, …

Our U18s went down rather meekly today, losing 2-0 to a more committed Cardiff side in the sun at Landore. We were missing a number of key players, including Jack Fanning, Iestyn Jones, Yori Griffith and of course Aimar Govea (who was there today in the stand with Filip Lissah). Our U15 / U16 contingent …
