Goals from Jamie Paterson and Ryan Manning saw Swansea City end their week long training camp with victory over Scottish Premiership outfit Dundee United at Tannadice. The Swans dominated the game for long periods and boss Russell Martin was pleased with how his side had played and the Scotland training camp in general. The Swans …
Goals from Jay Fulton and Joel Piroe saw Swansea City claim a 2-1 victory over Scottish Premiership outfit Hearts in a behind-closed-doors friendly at Tynecastle. It was the Swans first game on a week long training camp in Scotland, with boss Russell Martin and his assistant Matt Gill taking the opportunity to give some much …
Swansea City started their week long training camp in Scotland with a 2-1 win over Heart of Midlothian at Tynecastle. The game which was played behind closed doors, saw the Swans return to action for the first time since their last league outing at Huddersfield. Two goals in three first half-minutes from Jay Fulton and …
Having seen us perform so well at Haverfordwest on Saturday, I was a little disappointed with our showing today – although it has to be said that Bournemouth have some very useful players and played an intelligent game. We persisted far too long with players playing in positions that they are unsuited for and we …
A thoroughly entertaining friendly in thoroughly miserable weather! The meagre crowd had to put up with being fully exposed to the elements – the game was taking place on the open pitch nearest the academy and for which the available cover was unhelpfully roped off. There were wholesale personnel changes made by Swansea at half-time, …
The Swans Under 23s made the trip to JD Cymru Premier side Haverfordwest County for a pre-season friendly on the weekend. The Bluebirds with plenty of Swans connections …

A demanding and often feisty workout for the U21 against a determined Briton Ferry Llansawel of Cymru South – and in front of a very decent and appreciative crowd at Old Road. We lined up in a familiar style: Remi Mitchell; Kai Ludvigsen, Fillip Lissah and Ben Blythe as a back 3; Azeem Abdulai pulling …
Almost 400 of the Jack Army travelled to south-east London to watch the Swans round off their pre-season preparation with a 2-1 win over League One Charlton Athletic at the Valley. The game couldn’t have got off to a worse start for the Swans, after a calamitous own goal from Harry Darling, who under pressure …
The Swans played the last of their behind closed doors friendlies at Fairwood this weekend when they took on Joey Barton’s Bristol Rovers at Fairwood. Just as with the other pre-season games at the Swans training ground, the game was split up into two 60 minute games, with both sides ringing the changes throughout each …
